The International Arbuzovs Prize in the field of organophosphorous chemistry

July 11, 1997, on the eve of the 120th anniversary of academician Alexander Å. Arbuzov, outstanding chemist, the Creator of a new branch of chemistry - chemistry of organophosphorus compounds, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev signed a Decree on the establishment of the International Arbuzovs Prize in the field of organophosphorus chemistry.

Scientific Programm

The scientific programme of the Kazan Forum on Organoelement and Supramolecular Chemistry «Scientific Strategies of the Future» includes plenary (40 minutes) and keynote (25 minutes) lectures (by invitation of the organizing committee), as well as oral (10-15 minutes) and poster presentations on the topics:

  • New reagents and methods in organoelement synthesis;
  • Theoretical approaches to the description of processes in organometallic compounds;
  • Tautomerism and isomerism of organometallic compounds;
  • Promising materials based on organoelement compounds;
  • Physical methods of investigation of dynamic processes of organoelement compounds in solutions and crystals;
  • Organoelement compounds and living systems;
  • Self-organisation and supramolecular systems;
  • Supramolecular and coordination chemistry of organoelement compounds;
  • Modern approaches to the design of nanoreactors and nanocontainers: fundamental and applied aspects;
  • Supramolecular systems in environmental, biomedical and agricultural applications: from chemistry to living matter;
  • Polyfunctional nanosystems in interdisciplinary research.
