Laboratory of Organophosphorus Ligands
The Laboratory of Organophosphorus Ligands was organized in 2018 by isolation from the Laboratory of Organometallic and Coordination Compounds.
Main research activity
- Elaboration of procedures for synthesis of new types of cyclic and macrocyclic organophosphorus compounds (cyclic polyphosphines, heterocyclic aminomethylphosphines and frame macrocyclic phosphines) and design on this basis of metal complexes and supramolecular assemblies with prescribed 3D-arrangement and physical and chemical properties (solubility, optical activity, catalytic activity, magnetic susceptibility, molecular recognition).
- Obtaining of chiral organic and organoelement compounds in the nonracemic forms using classic (asymmetric synthesis, diastereomers resolution, etc.) as well as nontraditional methods based on the phenomenon of spontaneous resolution of enanthiomers during crystallization.
- Catalytic asymmetric synthesis.
- Chiral recognition on the phase interface and in the condensed matter.
- Chirality driven supramolecular association processes in the liquid, solid, and mesophases.
